From September 21 to 22, the China-Asean Young Entrepreneurs Economic and Trade Cooperation meeting hosted by China International Youth Exchange Center, China-Asean Center, China-Asean Young Entrepreneurs Association, ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council, Guangdong Youth Federation and Zhaoqing Municipal People's Government was held in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province. The theme of the forum is "Innovative Growth for Common Development".

A total of 300 young entrepreneurs from China and ASEAN countries participated in the meeting. Li Haitian, member of Zhaoqing CPPCC, Chairman of Zhaoqing Shaoyang Chamber of Commerce and chairman of Haffner Group, attended the meeting as a representative of young entrepreneurs.

At the meeting, Zhang Hua, Director of China International Youth Exchange Center, Bin Dega, Consul General of Indonesian Consulate General in Guangzhou, and Zhang Aijun, Secretary of Zhaoqing Municipal Party Committee, delivered speeches respectively. Participants and representatives generally said that at present, the momentum of world economic recovery is unstable, global trade and investment tend to weaken, and the economic growth of all countries are facing no small pressure. With the theme of "Innovative Growth, Common Development", this fair is timely. The industries of China and ASEAN are highly complementary and there is huge space for cooperation. We hope to make new contributions to the coordinated development of China-Asean economic and trade relations under the platform of bilateral mechanisms.
